While this is not an AIP-specific book, I found the information in general to be very helpful and I love how each of the 50 foods are discussed and related to how they can be used for various health concerns.

If you’re struggling with thyroid health I seriously recommend taking the time to look at this book. It’s a wealth of information and very eye opening.

The G-Free Diet is not specifically AIP, but THIS is where I started my journey many years ago before AIP, and a LOT of folks that eventually end up here on the AIP may or may not have already gone Gluten Free.
I’ve decided to share this here because I very much enjoyed the book, I think it holds value for folks that may not have ditched gluten and are struggling with it, and for folks that are AIP but think their loved ones or friends might benefit from at least going Gluten Free.
I loved reading Elisabeth’s story about her time on the reality show Survivor (oh my heck) and how that was the catalyst to her realizing she needed to ditch gluten!

NOTE: Dr. Myers recommends “The Myers Way” as an autoimmune diet – this varies slightly from the AIP but is similar. It may or may not be right for you. I’m including this book in the recommended reads because the information is exceptional!
Another great read if you’re dealing with the challenges of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis.

I’m sharing this book by Jessica Flanigan almost a little reluctantly (keep reading to find out why) but I think it’s worth the read if you’re stalled on AIP and are NOT finding healing.
She used to be a big advocate of the AIP diet but saw that a lot of her patients ended up “Stuck” … and with that she’s turned a bit “Anti-AIP.”
I’ve watched her in live FB talks and she believes that AIP helps people, but that people also fail to do it correctly – i.e. they don’t seek professional help, they don’t progress through all stages of the AIP, and they also don’t address many of the big lifestyle factors that we need to manage while facing autoimmune disease.
Jessica strongly believes that emotional and spiritual healing are necessary for optimal health, and I do believe some of her approaches warrant consideration…. so here you go!
