Andrea wanted to create a versatile gravy recipe that you could use throughout the year – not just on Thanksgiving or Christmas, something you could whip up on a whim with the ingredients you have in your pantry, for a variety of dishes.   1. In a small saucepan, melt fat over medium heat. When fat is melted, add the cassava flour and whisk constantly for 2 minutes.
  2. Add broth, salt and seasonings and continue to stir until the gravy is heated through and has started to thicken, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Serve with mashed potatoes, turkey, chicken, biscuits, or whatever your heart desires!
