  • ⚠  This group runs differently than most Facebook groups, and this explains why

Yes, it’s long.
Yes, it’s worth it.

Let’s get started on your path to healing! 🌿

🍓🥑A Quick Note About This Group (and Me)🥑🍓

This community is now over 89,000 members, and I run it entirely on my own as an unpaid volunteer.

To keep things safe and useful, I’ve intentionally designed this group to function more like a curated resource page than an open discussion forum.

The goal isn’t to spoon-feed answers — it’s to help you become confident, informed, and self-sufficient in your AIP journey.

Or as the saying goes: Teach someone to fish… and they don’t have to ask Facebook what’s for dinner every night. 😉

My mission is to empower you to start your AIP journey on the best foot possible.

🥑Supporting My Work (Optional, Appreciated, Never Required)🥑

If you find the group, my website and other social channels helpful, there are a few simple ways to support what I do:

Your donations help keep the site running. It’s big and the costs are not insignificant. It takes a lot of time to mange the group, inspire you daily and keep all of the resources updated so I can ensure you’re reading the most reliable content. Your support also lets me know that the work I’m doing actually matters — which means more than you might realize.

🍓🥑Let’s Talk AIP:🥑🍓

Your Healing Journey

If you’re here, chances are you’re dealing with autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, food sensitivities or gut issues… or you’re supporting someone who is.

The AIP is a supportive toolbox — a healing template that helps calm inflammation so we can figure out what our body actually needs and tolerates. It is NOT a weight-loss diet – The goal isn’t numbers on a scale — it’s about information gathering, resilience, and healing.

Which AIP Do We Follow in This Group?

This group focuses on
Core Elimination Stage recipes…
but it will support you as you progress!

Why?
Because Core Elimination remains the gold standard for identifying food triggers — and mixing protocols inside a recipe group creates confusion fast.

To Avoid Confusion:
To keep things clear and consistent, this Facebook group continues to post Core Elimination recipes (not Modified Elimination), with notes when adaptations are required to a recipe.

You’ll still find plenty of recipes that work across Core, Modified, Reintroductions, Paleo, or your own personalized AIP .. so this group remains beneficial forever!

Mandatory!
The elimination stage of the AIP is NOT meant to be forever – it is a temporary healing template. It is IMPERATIVE that you NOT get stuck in eliminations or start adding additional restrictions. Reintroductions are mandatory!

More about getting started right can be found on my website, which acts as our group’s resource base – Click Here to Get Started

Our #1 Resource Book:

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Modified AIP & The New Book 🚨

As of 2024, an optional Modified AIP Elimination Stage was formally introduced. You can read more about it and why it came about here.

The New Autoimmune Protocol (2026) by Mickey Trescott - includes all phases from transition through elimination stages (core or modified) to reintroductions, food lists, meal plans and recipes!

And in May 2026, The New Autoimmune Protocol by Mickey Trescott will be released — reflecting feedback from practitioners, patients, and emerging research.

This new book:

  • Explains the updated science behind the Core AIP Elimination
  • Introduces Modified Elimination in detail
  • Walks readers through all four stages of the protocol: transition, elimination, and reintroduction and maintenance
  • Includes recipes, meal plans and practical guidance

If you’re here before the release of The New Autoimmune Protocol, and you’re eager to acquire a resource book to get started on the AIP, I encourage you to check out Mickey’s other work.

You can grab her original AIP book, The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook, The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook, and Nutrient Dense Kitchen in my AIP Amazon Storefronts here: USA / Canada /UK

Our #1 Resource Website:

I’ve spent thousands of hours researching the AIP and autoimmune disease, and after fielding questions from thousands of members in my Facebook group, I decided to house all beginner resources, FAQs, food lists, troubleshooting guides, and tools on my website:

👉 AIPRecipeCollection.com

Why a website?
Because it’s searchable, shareable, bookmark-able — and accessible even if you’re not on Facebook.

I keep it updated as research evolves (and yes… 2026 is going to be a big update year).

How This Group Works (Read This Carefully)

This group is different—here’s how:

This is not a support group and not a symptom-sharing space.

🌿 Positive focus only — food, nourishment, inspiration — no sick talk and symptoms, just deliciousness!

🛡️ Safety first — misinformation and bad advice can cause real harm, so I’m strict about posting and commenting rules (see below0

🤝 Respect required — if the rules don’t work for you, it’s okay to leave. Disrespectful behavior and abusive language will result in blocking

Why This Structure Works

  • Fresh motivation provided by me daily
  • Community collaboration – your recipe reviews in comments help members know which recipes are faves or flops
  • No repetitive requests asking for the same type of recipes over
  • No duplicate recipe post chaos, making group searches productive
  • Posts are searchable and tagged
  • Clear AIP notes on every recipe that requires modification
  • Less noise, more usefulness

Thank you for joining and supporting this group! I’m grateful for your participation and hope you find inspiration for healing here.

Enjoy! 🌿

P.S.  If you’re unable to find an answer to a cooking question or general AIP or health support question, I’m happy to point you in the right direction if your truly stuck. Please post your question in the group as a new post or contact me directly.❤️

🍓🥑 Important Notes About Recipe Posts 🥑🍓

Please take a moment to review the following to ensure a positive and informed experience:

1. Focus on Core AIP – This group primarily supports the Core Elimination Stage of the AIP lifestyle. However, many recipes may include reintroductions or non-compliant ingredients. Such posts will clearly indicate how to adapt them for the elimination stage—keep an eye out for “FOR AIP” notes!

2. Sweets in Moderation – While we love sharing AIP-friendly sweets and treats, remember: nutrient density is key. Save these for special occasions and share them with others to avoid overindulging.

3. Be Diligent – Not all recipes or linked ingredients may be fully compliant, even from reputable sources. When choosing brands, please double-check to ensure they align with your stage of the AIP.

4. Educate Yourself – The AIP is a temporary template, not a one-size-fits-all plan. Work toward creating a personalized AIP lifestyle that suits your unique health needs. Even compliant recipes might not be right for everyone, so it’s essential to know what works for you.

5. Mistakes Happen – Despite best efforts, some non-compliant suggestions or comments may slip through. Use the “Report to Admin” feature or tag me to address issues. Report any spam, inappropriate content, or unsolicited messages via my website’s contact page to keep this group safe.

6. Affiliate Link Disclaimer – Managing this group and providing daily inspiration takes a significant amount of time. While affiliate links may be included in posts, I only earn a small commission if you choose to purchase through them—at no extra cost to you. (Click Here for My Food Sourcing Page & Coupons) Your support helps pay for the website, and I greatly appreciate it! (I commit a huge amount of time and effort to this group to provide you with resources and information and make very little for it. If you’re not okay with promotions, affiliate links and me being the only one making these recommendations, this group may not be for you.)

🍓🥑Group Rules🥑🍓

🧐Need a Recipe Suggestion? Search First

  • No posts asking for favorite recipes. The group search is your best friend! Thousands of recipes with member reviews already exist and your personal search will inspire you! Instructions for searching the group are provided here.
  • Questions about recipes? Search for the recipe post first, check the main post and comments for answers, and then ask your question in the comments if needed. If the recipe isn’t posted, share your question as a new post with a link to the recipe and I’ll get back to you.

🗨️ Posting & Recipe Sharing Rules

  • All posts to the main wall are reviewed by me. I ensure recipes are compliant and provide clear AIP notes.
  • Want to share a recipe?
    • Search the group first (for the name or URL of the recipe). If the recipe exists, comment on the post with your review.
    • If not already posted, share a new post with a valid URL to an online recipe (no videos/YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram posts as not everyone is on these platforms. Absolutely NO screenshots, or cookbook copies—this is copyright infringement).
    • Member-created recipes are no longer permitted as they often lack full, accurate ingredient lists and clear instructions. Additionally, many recipes shared are similar to ones already posted. If you’ve adapted a recipe for AIP, please provide the original link along with your adaptations for review.
    • Recipe suggestions in comments are NOT allowed as I need to review ingredients. Instead, please tag members on existing recipes posts or encourage them to search the group.

🗨️Commenting Rules

  • Keep comments AIP CORE Elimination Stage compliant. Avoid suggestions for ingredients outside the CORE protocol.
  • No brand recommendations or product purchase links; I provide vetted shopping options to support everyone.
  • Non-compliant, promotional, or inappropriate comments will be deleted without notice.

⛔ Prohibited Posts / Comments

  • Recipes in comments. Please use proper submission methods – please see above.
  • Copyright infringement. Do not post copies of recipes from cookbooks or websites that have disappeared. Save personal PDFs for your personal use only and do not ask others to break the rules if you no longer have access to a recipe.
  • Health discussions or supplement advice. Seek a professional for health-related questions. Click to find support or supplement information.
  • Ingredient compliance questions. Resources are provided—please use them to learn the protocol. If you’re truly stuck, please ask.
  • Promotional content. No blogs, businesses, or product promotions. Contact me directly for advertising and partner inquiries
