A Quick Note About This Group (and Me)
šš„ Thank You For Your Support! š„š
This community is now over 89,000 members, and I run it entirely on my own as an unpaid volunteer.
To keep things safe and useful, Iāve intentionally designed this group to function more like a curated resource page than an open discussion forum.
The goal isnāt to spoon-feed answers ā itās to help you become confident, informed, and self-sufficient in your AIP journey.
Or as the saying goes:
Teach someone to fish⦠and they donāt have to ask Facebook whatās for dinner every night. š
My mission is to empower you to start your AIP journey on the best foot possible.
š„Supporting My Work (Optional, Appreciated, Never Required)š„
If you find the group, my website and other social channels helpful, there are a few simple ways to support what I do:
Shopping with my affiliates (check out the coupons here) and through my various food sourcing and AIP lifestyle links, helps fund my effortsāat no extra cost to you. I earn a small commission, and every purchase truly helps (click here for my disclosure on affiliate links)
- Interact! Simply liking a post or adding a relevant (and compliant) comment on my posts helps boost visibility of the group and your reviews on recipes posted in the group help others too (see below for more information)
Make a small donation if youāre able ā even a couple of dollars helps cover website costs
Your support allows me to keep the site running (it’s big and the costs are not insignificant), keep resources updated (which takes considerable time to ensure you’re reading the most reliable content), and continue managing the group. It also reassures me that this work actually matters ā which means more than you might realize.

Your Healing Journey
If youāre here, chances are youāre dealing with autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, food sensitivities, gut issues⦠or the fun little combo platter of all of the above. The AIP is used as a supportive toolbox ā a healing template that helps many people calm inflammation and figure out what their body actually needs and tolerates.
One quick but important reminder before we go any further: even though this is a recipe group, the AIP is about much more than food (I cover that on my website and share additional lifestyle content on Instagram and the Facebook Page). The elimination phase of the diet is not meant to be forever, and reintroductions arenāt optional ā theyāre the whole point. Also, this isnāt a weight-loss plan. Some who are ill need to gain weight (I was one of those), others with chronic inflammation may see weight loss, and many see no change at all. The goal isnāt numbers on a scale ā itās about information gathering, resilience, and healing.
Which AIP Do We Follow?
The Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) is a healing lifestyle, not a fad or weight-loss diet. While itās inspired by the Paleo diet, it is not the same, it’s a variation tailored to those with autoimmune conditions. Additionally, while there are some similarities to the Whole30, Wahlās Protocol or Meyerās Way, the AIP is different and this group will focus exclusively on the AIP Core Elimination Stage recipes that meet with the original AIP protocol.
As of 2024, an optional “Modified Elimination Stage” was created for the AIP (you can read more about it here.). However, since “Core Elimination” is still the gold-standard for identifying food triggers, to avoid confusion, the AIP Recipe Collection Facebook Group decided to stick to their core (pun intended), and we continue presenting all recipes and notes for this stage. Don’t worry though, you’ll find lots of recipes that you can enjoy through core, modified, reintroductions, paleo and your own personalized version of the AIP!
#1 Resource Book
COMING May 2026 –
With feedback from thousands of practitioners and millions of patients, as well as new research, it became evident that the AIP needs an update: many patients see results before extensive dietary eliminations. I’m excited to announce that The New Autoimmune Protocol, authored by leading AIP authority Mickey Trescott is coming out in May of 2026 and it will explain not only the basics of autoimmune disease and new medical research, but also the new addition to the protocol: Modified AIP Elimination, which will make relief achievable by many more autoimmune sufferers.
This hybrid program guide and cookbook walks readers through the essential phases of AIPātransition, elimination, and reintroduction.
The book is currently available for pre-order on Amazon This essential resource will cover not only food lists, the elimination phases, and reintroductions, but it includes recipes to help you on your healing journey.
š Click here to get your copy: USA / Canada /UK
(NOTE: Kindle is currently not available in the UK, but you can purchase it via the USA or Canada)
In the meantime, if you’re eager to acquire a resource book to get started on the AIP, I encourage you to check out Mickey’s other work. You can grab her original AIP book, The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook, The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook, and Nutrient Dense Kitchen in my AIP Amazon Storefronts here: USA / Canada /UK
#1 Resource Tool: My Website
Iāve invested thousands of hours researching autoimmune diseases and the AIP. My website, AIP Recipe Collection, offers FREE beginner resources (which I’m always working to keep updated – in 2026 I have a LOT of work to do with Mickey’s new book coming out), FAQs, and tools to help you succeed.
Hosting resources on a website makes them accessible, searchable, and shareable with loved onesāeven if theyāre not in the group. Be sure to explore the site for valuable tips and information!
About The Group:
This group is differentāhereās how:
- A Positive Space – No Sick Talk! This is not a support group. While there are plenty of places to discuss symptoms, medications, or challenges, this group is all about positivity, food inspiration, and deliciousness. Letās focus on what nourishes and heals!
- Safety First – The group operates more like a page with strict rules to ensure everyoneās health and safety. Misinformation and bad advice can be harmful, so Iāve structured the group to prioritize reliable, trustworthy content.
- Mutual Respect – If the rules or format arenāt for you, thatās okayāplease feel free to leave rather than post rude comments or send negative messages. Disrespectful behavior will result in removal and blocking.
Why This Group?
- Daily Inspiration – Find fresh motivation to get in the kitchen and enjoy tasty, healing meals.
- Streamlined Recipes – No duplicate posts! Every recipe is unique, searchable, and includes comments for reviewsāmaking it easy to decide what to try.
- Community Reviews – While I post recipes, youāre encouraged to share your experiences and tips in the comments. Letās collaborate to make every dish better!
šš„ Important Notes About Recipe Posts š„š
Please take a moment to review the following to ensure a positive and informed experience:
1. Focus on Core AIP – This group primarily supports the Core Elimination Stage of the AIP lifestyle. However, many recipes may include reintroductions or non-compliant ingredients. Such posts will clearly indicate how to adapt them for the elimination stageākeep an eye out for “FOR AIP” notes!
2. Sweets in Moderation – While we love sharing AIP-friendly sweets and treats, remember: nutrient density is key. Save these for special occasions and share them with others to avoid overindulging.
3. Be Diligent – Not all recipes or linked ingredients may be fully compliant, even from reputable sources. When choosing brands, please double-check to ensure they align with your stage of the AIP.
4. Educate Yourself – The AIP is a temporary template, not a one-size-fits-all plan. Work toward creating a personalized AIP lifestyle that suits your unique health needs. Even compliant recipes might not be right for everyone, so it’s essential to know what works for you.
5. Mistakes Happen – Despite best efforts, some non-compliant suggestions or comments may slip through. Use the āReport to Adminā feature or tag me to address issues. Report any spam, inappropriate content, or unsolicited messages via my websiteās contact page to keep this group safe.
6. Affiliate Link Disclaimer – Managing this group and providing daily inspiration takes a significant amount of time. While affiliate links may be included in posts, I only earn a small commission if you choose to purchase through themāat no extra cost to you. (Click Here for My Food Sourcing Page & Coupons) Your support helps pay for the website, and I greatly appreciate it! (I commit a huge amount of time and effort to this group to provide you with resources and information and make very little for it. If you’re not okay with promotions, affiliate links and me being the only one making these recommendations, this group may not be for you.)
Thank you for joining and supporting this group! Iām grateful for your participation and hope you find inspiration for healing here.
Enjoy! šæ

P.S. If you’re unable to find an answer to a cooking question or general AIP or health support question, I’m happy to point you in the right direction if your truly stuck. Please post your question in the group as a new post or contact me directly.ā¤ļø
šš„Group Rulesš„š
š§Need a Recipe Suggestion? Search First
- No posts asking for favorite recipes. The group search is your best friend! Thousands of recipes with member reviews already exist and your personal search will inspire you! Instructions for searching the group are provided here.
- Questions about recipes? Search for the recipe post first, check the main post and comments for answers, and then ask your question in the comments if needed. If the recipe isnāt posted, share your question as a new post with a link to the recipe and I’ll get back to you.
šØļø Posting & Recipe Sharing Rules
- All posts to the main wall are reviewed by me. I ensure recipes are compliant and provide clear AIP notes.
- Want to share a recipe?
- Search the group first (for the name or URL of the recipe). If the recipe exists, comment on the post with your review.
- If not already posted, share a new post with a valid URL to an online recipe (no videos/YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram posts as not everyone is on these platforms. Absolutely NO screenshots, or cookbook copiesāthis is copyright infringement).
- Member-created recipes are no longer permitted as they often lack full, accurate ingredient lists and clear instructions. Additionally, many recipes shared are similar to ones already posted. If you’ve adapted a recipe for AIP, please provide the original link along with your adaptations for review.
- Recipe suggestions in comments are NOT allowed as I need to review ingredients. Instead, please tag members on existing recipes posts or encourage them to search the group.
šØļøCommenting Rules
- Keep comments AIP CORE Elimination Stage compliant. Avoid suggestions for ingredients outside the CORE protocol.
- No brand recommendations or product purchase links; I provide vetted shopping options to support everyone.
- Non-compliant, promotional, or inappropriate comments will be deleted without notice.
ā Prohibited Posts / Comments
- Recipes in comments. Please use proper submission methods – please see above.
